1. What Cairn Is

Cairn is a fitness and habit-management application that uses on-device camera pose detection to count exercises and browser URL detection to prompt exercise sessions. The App is designed as a tool to help users redirect urges toward physical activity.

2. Not a Medical or Mental Health Service

Cairn is not a medical device, mental health treatment, or therapy. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including pornography addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, or any other health condition.

If you are struggling with compulsive behaviors or mental health challenges, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Resources include:

• Your primary care physician or a licensed therapist
• International helplines and support directories in your region

3. Physical Exercise Assumption of Risk

Cairn guides you through bodyweight exercises (push-ups, squats, planks, jumping jacks). As with any physical activity:

• You are responsible for assessing your own physical fitness and health before exercising.
• Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.
• You assume all risk of injury. The App creators are not liable for any injury, illness, or damage resulting from exercises performed while using the App.

4. No Guarantee of Results

Cairn does not guarantee any specific outcome, including reduced urges, changed habits, or improved wellbeing. The App is a tool; individual results vary based on personal effort and circumstances.

5. Acceptable Use

• You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose.
• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or distribute the App without permission.
• You agree not to use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.

6. Privacy

Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy. URLs, camera frames, exercise history, and commitment reasons stay on your device. Google Play, RevenueCat, and Meta process limited subscription, device-identifier, and advertising-measurement data as disclosed there.

7. Subscriptions

Cairn may offer weekly, monthly, annual, or other subscription options through Google Play. The plans available to you, localized prices, billing periods, and any trial eligibility are shown from Google Play before you confirm a purchase.

• A free trial is not guaranteed. If Google Play offers one, the App and Google Play purchase sheet show its duration and the price charged after it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed billing interval unless cancelled before renewal.
• You can manage or cancel through your Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy.

8. Service Availability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time. We are not liable for any interruption of service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of Cairn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
